Lately, I’ve been getting out shooting before work as much as possible. The other day I was going to a bakery on State Fair and decided to take a few side streets to get there. On that journey, I found this GMC Yukon.
I don’t usually take photos of cars this new, but the size of the vehicle against the vacant lots intrigued me. It looks like it’s being used as a donor, but I didn’t see any nearby car lots or homes that looked set up to work on it.
While walking around to get a good angle, I noticed that the vacant lot on the corner wasn’t filled correctly. There’s a steep step down where the foundation of the house was, and that area was saturated with water. I decided it was best to avoid walking on it and went around to snag a few more photos.
When my diversion was completed, and I got to the bakery, the line was so long that I would have risked being late to work for a fritter. Given the quality of the bakery, it might have been worth the risk, but hey, there’s always next time, I guess.
Would you have risked it for the fritter?
